Wayne Wyatt Results Round 6

Hello all and welcome to the wrap up of qualifying event number 6 of 8.

We had a Wyatt 80 players front up to the fifth event of 2019. The players participated in the 3 divisions, Division 1 had 30 players, Division 2 had 37 players and Division 3 had 13 players. This was 6th event of 8 to complete the preliminaries prior to the finals starting where the Top Qualified 16 in each division will play off in the Grand Final on Saturday the 5th October 2019 at the Belmont Sports & Rec.

However, you must have played in at least 6 or 75% of the events to be eligible to play. Remember those who have played at least 6 events and are not in the Top 16 will be elevated into the 16 if higher points players are not qualified.

Numbers were up a bit for this Wyatt Lower Grade Singles event, with 80 starters. Only 2 more events to go to secure you positions for the Finals.

We had 5 x 180’s thrown today by 4 players and 8 x 100 plus pegs, the highest being 152 by Steve Vosper, well done. It was pleasing to see another 2 new players participate in the fourth event of the year. A total of 163 players have played in the opening six events, well done.

As discussed, please remember the Darts WA dress code required at these and future events.  Also be reminded about Prize Money, point 8 of the playing format requires a player to wait and receive any monies won at the completion of the Division Finals

The Points Tables and Report will be published on our Wayne Wyatt Challenger Singles FaceBook page and in this website. Look under the WA Rankings heading.

Again, thanks to Belmont Sports and the staff for the use of the venue.

The next playing date is on Saturday 17th August 2019 at Belmont Sports & Rec, Check In finishes at 9-30am for a 10-00am start, be sure to be there early

Another good day today, in this season eight of this competition, we look forward to seeing you all at the next event.

Good luck and good darts.

Mark, Jordan, Gavin, Betty and Co
