Kyle Anderson Memorial 2023

Although the numbers were not great players travelled from Kalgoorlie in the East, Bridgetown in the South and Port Hedland in the North.

The sponsorship from Pit to Port through Dwayne Galby is very much appreciated and he has already indicated that he will support it again next year so hopefully this will entice even more young players to make the journey.

There was great support from the parents which made the organisers job so much easier and the parents seemed to be happy to be involved even learning new tricks through that involvement.

Saturday the boys and girls doubles were played with the following results.

Girls doubles  winners  Suzette Parker and Kerry O’Neil and runners up Abbi Aram and Brianna Pickett.

Boys Doubles  winners   Mitchell Galby and Andre Yates and runners up Naoise Coughlan and Ricky Pickett.

The doubles were followed by mixed triples and everyone enjoyed this format even the spectators.

Winners   Charlie Dinnison, Ruby Clarke and Anthony Binomar.

Runners up Naoise Coughlan, Suzette Parker and Mitchell Galby.

Sunday was the Kyle Anderson singles and the young players showed real skill in this event which speaks well for the future of the sport.
