Bunbury Classic 2022

Bunbury Classic Grand Prix

The Bunbury Classic Grand Prix was held for the first time in 2022. The Bunbury Lord Mayor, Jaysen Miguel opened the tournament with Alifaye Gidgup conducting the Welcome to Country.

The tournament had 109 players compete in the singles competition and 102 players compete in the doubles competition (results below). Twenty-four of these players were under 18’s.

Darts Western Australia would like to thank the following who sponsored this event:

Bunbury City Council

Eclipse Driving School

South West Italian Club

We would also like to thank the South West Italian Club Volunteers and the Bunbury Men’s Darts Association for the valuable assistance, volunteering their time during this tournament.

We would also like to mention that Australian Representatives Peter Machin & Kym Mitchell travelled from South Australia to compete along with Trent Mitchell. Mathew Tabb and his son Zac Tabb (U18) both travelled from Victoria to compete. We anticipate in the future this event will attract further interstate players.
